Product Management Walkthrough -
How Do I Deactivate/Discontinue Products in Channel Gate?
In this article, we will discuss three ways of deactivating products:

Bulk Actions > Deactivate Products

Bulk Actions > Update Products

Vendors Without Product Management - Contact Us
Bulk Actions > Deactivate Products
Navigate to the Listings page:
Channel Gate > Product Management > Products > Listing
Search the SKU number(s) in the search bar. If you are searching for multiple SKUs, separate each SKU with a comma.
Use Bulk Actions to download the template to deactivate the searched SKUs:
Bulk Actions > Deactivate Products > Download Template
Populate the file with the required information:
- SKU
- Brand ID
- De-activation code (Each code can be found in the Info tab of the excel template)
Save the file, head back to Bulk Actions and upload the file via Deactivate Products.
Bulk Actions > Update Products
Navigate to the Listings page:
Channel Gate > Product Management > Products > Listing
Export your catalog by selecting Export > Products
An excel file will download to your desktop. Repopulate the following columns for the required SKUs:
- SKU
- Brand ID
- De-activation code (Each code can be found in the Info tab of the excel template)
Save the file, head back to Bulk Actions and upload the file via Update Products.

If your account doesn't have the Product Management module, send your request to inventory@cymax.com.
If your account should have Product Management module, but the module isn't visible, email support@channelgate.io for support.
