Product Management Walkthrough Guide -
Do you offer products in multiple sizes, colors, or other variations? Leverage Product Grouping to enhance your marketing strategy and improve the customer experience. Grouping variations under one listing makes it easier for customers to find what they need without having to search through multiple pages. It also helps streamline marketing efforts and improves the shopping experience by keeping all options in one place.
Guidelines:
- One Grouping Level: Only one grouping layer is supported.
- Brand Consistency: All products in the group must have the same brand.
- Category Consistency: All products must belong to the same category.
- Product Name Length: Each variation name should be 20 characters or fewer.

Fill Out the Template:

Group Name:
- The group name is used as the identifier for the group. Therefore each group name must be unique. Any product with the same group name will be grouped together.

Brand ID:
- The group will be associated with a brand ID. This will automatically assign certain properties from the brand to the group such as the brand name.
- To find your Brand ID, navigate to the Brands page:
Channel Gate > Account Settings > Brands - Use one brandID only per Product Grouping Template upload.

Description:
- The Description is the group type. Select from the available types from the dropdown list. Available types: Color, Material, Pattern, Shape, Size, Style, Number of Pieces.

Variation:
- The Variation is the differentiating value of the group for each product such as "Twin", "Full", or "Queen" for Size type and "Red" or "Blue" for Color.
- When adding group descriptions and variations, make sure you’re following the formatting rules for each marketplace channel.

Cymax Product ID:
- The unique Cymax product ID of the product.
- You can find this on the Channel Gate product listing page.

Create or Add to Existing:
- This template allows for the creation of new groups or adding products to an existing group. Select from the dropdown "New" to create a new group for 2 or more products and "Add to Existing Group" to add the product to an existing group. In order to add a product to an existing group, the GroupName, Brand Id, and Description must match the existing group.

Final Checks:
- Double-check that you’ve filled out the Group Name, Manufacturer ID, and Product ID fields for every SKU.
- Ensure all the products in the group have the same brand and category.

Upload to Channel Gate:
Once the file is ready, upload it through Bulk Actions.
